Introduction

The concept of Imam Al Mahdi AS has been a subject of deep study for centuries. While many Muslims believe in his arrival as prophesied in Hadith, his uniqueness as “The Guided One” (Al-Mahdi) raises a profound question:
If the Quran, Sunnah, and Hadith are available to all, what makes Imam Al Mahdi AS more guided than the rest?

Through careful analysis of Hadith, Quranic indications, and real-world events, it becomes clear that Imam Al Mahdi AS is not merely a reformer but a divinely guided leader with access to a level of knowledge beyond ordinary scholars and saints.

The Need for a Higher Level of Guidance

Every Muslim has access to Quran, Sunnah, and Hadith, yet the Ummah remains divided into sects, each interpreting Islam differently. The emergence of Imam Al Mahdi AS as The Guided One means he must possess divine knowledge superior to all scholars, saints, and rulers.

His mission is extremely difficult:

  1. Uniting the entire Muslim Ummah under one banner – something that no scholar or saint has been able to achieve.
  2. Ending sectarian divisions that have existed for centuries.
  3. Implementing true Islamic governance worldwide while facing global resistance.

If he only had access to the same Quran and Hadith as others, he could be challenged by scholars who would claim equal authority.
Thus, for him to be truly Al-Mahdi (The Guided One), his guidance must come from a source beyond human intellect.

A Quranic Clue: A Man Visiting the Prophet Muhammad PBUH

A significant Quranic verse provides an indication that divine intervention in time is possible:

"These people (non-believers) say that a man comes to him (Prophet Muhammad PBUH) to teach him. Do they not see that this man's language is not Arabic, while the Quran is in pure Arabic?"
(Surah An-Nahl 16:103)

Scholars debate who this mysterious man was, with some suggesting it refers to Angel Jibreel AS or a companion. However, this raises questions:

  • If it was Angel Jibreel AS, why would people doubt? The angel always spoke Arabic when bringing revelation.
  • If it was a human, why did the non-believers think he was teaching the Prophet PBUH?

This verse suggests that someone visited Prophet Muhammad PBUH physically, but his language was not Arabic.
This opens the possibility that Allah can allow someone to physically travel back in time to seek divine guidance directly from the Prophet Muhammad PBUH.

Time Travel and Imam Mahdi AS

The biggest challenge for Imam Mahdi AS is not just understanding Islam but implementing it in the most difficult times of human history.
Since the chapter of Wahi (Revelation) closed with Prophet Muhammad PBUH, there must be another way for him to receive divine guidance.

The Quranic verse above provides a clue that Allah can send him back in time to meet Prophet Muhammad PBUH.

  • This would explain why he is above all scholars and saints, as he would receive direct guidance from the source rather than relying on books and interpretations.
  • Unlike spiritual visions, this would be a physical experience, making it unquestionable and undeniable.
  • An angel could serve as a translator between them, ensuring complete understanding.

If true, this would make Imam Mahdi AS the most divinely guided person after the Prophet Muhammad PBUH.

Signs Leading to His Appearance

The world today is rapidly approaching the events foretold in Hadith:

  1. The Army of Black Flags from Khurasan – Prophet Muhammad PBUH prophesied that an army from Khurasan (modern-day Afghanistan, Pakistan, and parts of Iran) will rise under black flags and establish Islamic rule.

    • Today, the Taliban fit this description, as they have defeated British, Russian, and NATO forces despite lacking modern technology.
    • Their flag is white, but symbolically, they represent the black-flagged force.
    • No country has fully accepted their government yet, fulfilling another sign.

  2. Attack on Iran (Persia) – A Hadith mentions that Persia (modern-day Iran) will face a great attack before Imam Mahdi AS appears.

    • Tensions between Israel and Iran are at an all-time high.
    • If Israel launches a direct strike on Iran, it will fulfill this sign.

  3. Death of the Saudi King & Conflict for the Throne

    • King Salman is old and critically ill. If he dies, a major struggle will erupt.
    • A Hadith states that three princes will fight for the throne.
    • Dr. Israr Ahmad RA suggested this might happen during Hajj, as Hadith mentions many people will die in a battle at Mina.
    • MBS (Mohammed bin Salman) is not the rightful heir, which may lead to civil unrest.

  4. The Prolonged Day – Another Hadith states:

    “If only one day remains before the end of the world, Allah will prolong that day until a man from my family (Imam Mahdi AS) establishes rule over all Muslims.”

    • Today’s global situation suggests that wars are being delayed but not stopped.
    • Some believe the Trump presidency caused a temporary ceasefire, acting as this “prolonged day.”
    • Once this delay ends, chaos will begin again, leading to Imam Mahdi AS’s emergence.

The Emergence of Imam Mahdi AS

Once the final two signs occur:

  1. A large-scale attack on Iran.
  2. The battle for the Saudi throne.

A man from Medina will be approached and asked if he is Imam Mahdi AS.

  • He will refuse multiple times.

  • Eventually, while performing Tawaf of the Kaaba, a **divine voice from the sky will declare:

    "This is my Caliph, Mahdi. Listen to him and obey his commands."**

  • 313 people will hear this voice and take Bay’ah (pledge allegiance) to him at Hajr-e-Aswad and Maqam Ibrahim AS.

  • After this, no power on Earth will be able to stop him.

Conclusion: How Close Are We?

  • The Saudi king’s death is imminent.
  • Iran-Israel tensions are at a breaking point.
  • Wars are escalating worldwide, fitting the timeline perfectly.
  • Muharram 2025 seems highly probable for his emergence if the two remaining signs happen soon.
  • If not in 2025, then in the following years – but the time is extremely near.

Imam Mahdi AS is not an ordinary man – he is "The Guided One" because his knowledge and guidance come directly from Allah, possibly even through time travel to Prophet Muhammad PBUH.

Allah knows best. The world is watching, and the final events are unfolding before our eyes.
